I wanted to comment on the reader who wrote about the National Consumer Panel
hand scanner. I have been with them for years and have earned enough points to
get a new Microwave oven and a few small things. Besides scanning your purchases,
after you "transmit" each week, you are automatically brought to their home page
where you can take surveys which also rack up points. If you transmit every week,
you are entered into different sweepstakes. I won a quarterly sweep stake earlier
this year and they sent me a check for $1,000.00.not too shabby for taking the time
to scan! Just thought this might be an incentive to others who are thinking about
joining them.
