The invention of typing correction fluid is credited to Bette Nesmith, the mother of
former Monkee Mike Nesmith. In the 1950s, Mrs. Nesmith was a typist. One day,
she brought with her to work a small brush and a bottle of white paint which she
used to correct her typos. She shared her "Mistake Out" with other secretaries,
and was soon approached by an office supply company to market her invention.
She later renamed the product Liquid Paper, and in 1979, sold the rights to the
Gillette Company for $47.5 million.

Just wanted you to know I won a scrubbing bubble's cleaning pack worth around
$12.00 & a $25.00 ITune gift card yesterday alone. Last week I recieved my $20
gift card from the Tuscany Olive Garden sweepstakes too. I have been a long time
member and have always averaged around $500 a year in winnings, samples and
freebies combined. I keep a ledger of each year and as soon as I get the sample or
prize I write the date and the $ amount and what sweepstakes etc I won it from. It's
fun to just see it all add up and to try to beat last years total. Hopefully this year will
be my year, looking forward to win $ a trip or a car maybe?
