NBC was the first network to pioneer the "credit squeeze." They started the trend
in 1994 by showing the closing credit scroll in a split-screen format, with the right
half of the screen filled with station promos and clips from upcoming programs.

Hey James.....just wanted to let your newsletter readers know to check their emails
really good before trashing them.I got one from Cavenders back to school contest
in the subject line that I already have been entering but thought I would make sure
it was the same contest or a different one before deleting it. It was a letter from them
saying I won an Ipod touch. You have no idea how close I came to deleting it before
checking, thinking it was a contest I was already in...no mention of winning in the
subject line. I guess I just figured If I ever won something the subject would refer to
that. Also this month I won a 500$ gift card from Resolve. Earlier I won 30 rolls of
duct tape from Dial's 40 days of filth contest.
