I logged in yesterday and got my score. It's 788 if anyone cared =)
And nope, they don't try to push anything else on you. They DO have
a link on their site to purchase a credit report, but you can easily ignore it.
Here's a reply I got when I posted it in the regular newsletter.

It gives an instant view of consumer's credit, including Experian credit score,
refreshed monthly & for free. I Get my credit score from this one too.

You're allowed to request 1 report each year from each of the three credit bureau's.
