Here is an email I received a couple of days ago.

What happens when these people don't follow through with the freebies they
offer? I can't tell you how many times I asked for something and never received
it! Case in point-the free prints being offered by the National Guard. I have asked
for these twice and never received them! I think these people should not offer
something they don't intend to send. Maybe you can explain why !!!

And my response...

A lot of companies only have x amount to give out and they don't tell us. or some
companies just want your info so they can spam your inbox (thats why I highly
suggest getting a seperate email address for freebies and contests - gmail.com
is an excellent one)

I try to stick with the bigger companies because we have a best shot at getting
samples from them. It would be extremely difficult for a mom and pop company
to give out 100,000 samples or tee shirts or whatever.
