As you are more than likely aware; Keurig has changed the ink markings on its K Cups
so that the new Keurig 2.0 brewers will not brew any K Cup without the special ink
markings. My original Keurig Brewer died and I purchased the new 2.0. On attempting
to brew one of my older K Cups I was given an error "Oops!" message and was told that
my original K cups were no longer compatible wit the new brewer. I telephoned the Oops
hotline number and was asked how many of what brand of older K Cups I owned. It turned
out that I owned 191 individual no-longer-any-good to me K Cups! No worries! Keurig
e-mailed coupons for their store to replace every old K Cup.
Now, the best part of the deal! I went to Amazon and researched "Keurig Freedom Clip
2.0" and was delighted to see that their is for sale a set of "stickers" that one places on
the old K Cup. This serves to deceive the brewer into thinking that you've used one of
their new K Cups. The stickers are re-useable and retailed for $5.99 for 96 of them.
Suddenly, my supply of K Cups doubled! I can now still use the older ones with the
help of the stickers and the new ones from Keurig are awesome!
